A FAMILY are having to live with a sink hole in their living room – and its filling with water every day.
Alison Evans, 51, from Trebanog in Perth, Wales, even has to pop home during work hours to pump water out of the hole so it does not flood the £80,000 home.

And despite asking the water company, council and builders what the source of the water is, no one has managed to come up with an answer.
She said: “The hole has been there from the start of the year. I go to work and I don’t know if there’ll be water all through the house.
“I have tried everything – the insurance won’t pay out until they know where the water is coming from. No one knows where it’s coming from.”

As a result of the sinkhole, she has been forced to live in other rooms – and move all her furniture elsewhere.
Mrs Evans, who works in a factory, first realised there was an issue when she saw water coming from the ground.
A hole had to be dug to try and find the source of the water.

She said: “There are days I have had to come home from work because my husband couldn’t keep up with the water coming through.
“I come home from work sometimes and I have to get the pump out and I have to open all the windows and doors.
