What ‘polite’ office email phrases REALLY mean from ‘hope this helps’ to ‘kind regards’

OFFICE email lingo might seem pleasant enough on the face of it, though workers often do not say what they really mean.

So as we have all tip-toed around what we really mean when sending professional emails there’s bad news around the corner – because they have now been decoded by 9GAG.

Telling a colleague that you “should have been clearer” or saying “as stated below” appear polite enough.

But it’s being claimed that they really mean to convey incredibly blunt, often rude sentiment.

For example, “let me clarify” really means “You completely misunderstood my last message, you idiot.”
