Mystery as ‘one in a million’ bartender, 25, dies suddenly leaving friends and family devastated

HEARTBROKEN pals of a “one in a million” bartender have expressed their grief at her sudden and mysterious death.

Jardine Garvey, 25, died yesterday with friends saying she was “a lovely soul inside and out”.

The popular bartender worked at The Quarter in Liverpool city centre, and was well known in the area, the Liverpool Echo reports.

On social media friends paid tribute to her memory.

Sophie Ward said: “I am shocked and devastated and can’t even begin to imagine what your family are going through. You were one in a million – there will never be anyone like you. Rest in peace.”

Another pal, Jason Fitzgibbon, said: “Can’t believe I would ever write this – absolutely devastating.

“Such a lovely soul inside and out. I’m lost for words – had so many good times and laughs together.

“Rest in paradise baby girl. Love you always.”

The Gluten Free Pie Company worked with Jardine in her job, and joined the tributes following her death.

A statement from the firm read: “Heartbroken to hear the news that my favourite coffee angel is no longer with us.

“With a mutual love of Maria Carey this girl was one in a million.

“Funny, intelligent and just a style icon. She always looked a million dollars. Rest in peace Jardina – I still can’t quite believe it.

“My heart goes out to all my friends at the The Quarter.”
